A quintessentially postmodern table lamp, the Nastro was designed by Alberto Fraser for Stilnovo in 1983. Made in Italy, it has a weighted black plastic base, black plastic shade and a rainbow striped flexible and bendable PVC stem. Alberto Fraser was born and raised in Glasgow, the son of a Scottish father and Italian mother, and now lives and works in Milan.
In vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including a crack on the shade and on the base. Takes a single halogen bulb and works great.
